What should I be wearing?
Dress for a day of skiing, try not to wear cotton, especially cotton socks. We suggest you bring gloves (a must), neck gator and sunscreen. You may also want to bring sunglasses and a camera is always nice, make sure to keep it dry.
What will Piney River Adventures provide?
Piney River will provide helmets with face shields. If for some reason you feel your cloths will not be warm enough Piney does provide snowsuits and boots.
Is the trail groomed?
Yes, the trail that you will travel on is groomed; the play area at fox farm is also groomed.
Will I see wildlife?
Once in a while we get a glimpse of a fox or a moose, but for the most part animals head down valley where there is more food to forage on during the winter.
What if this is my first snowmobile trip?
Our trips are suitable for first-time snowmobilers. The trails are groomed. The speed in which you will travel should not be intimidating.
Should I ride single or double?
It is actually easier to drive yourself than ride on the back of a double. The heat from the engine also keeps the driver warmer.
What if it is snowing? Will the tour still go?
Yes, the tour will still go when it is snowing. Tours do not generally get cancelled. If there is any possible weather conditions that would make it to dangerous to go we would certainly make that call.
